Took these pictures today down at West Wittering beach in West Sussex. A proper beach. Grassy dunes, beach huts, low tide, ripples in the sand, dogs chasing sticks, sandcastles, seaweed, kites, cups of tea. OK, so there are 12, not 10. I can't count.

These are great shots, Maxine. You have a fine eye for mood, colour and composition. I'm a great believer in the notion that 'the best camera is the one you have with you' and these iPhone shots prove the point.

Thank you so much for your kind words. I absolutely agree with this sentiment. Some of my most interesting shots have come from the iPhone. I was recently in Stockholm and found myself taking all manner of pictures that I'm sure I would have missed or been too self-conscious to take with my D60. It allows you to be much more discreet and spontaneous I think. There are a few here:
