I take pictures, write music, make little films, and try to synthesise them into something more.
I'm influenced by minimalism, space, colour, graphics, light, landscapes, water, travel, journeys, transport, illustration, architecture, design, reflection, memory and abstraction. I'm synaesthesic and still learning about how this affects the creative process.
Most of what appears here is either work in progress or snippets, excerpts, samples and fragments of other people's work that I find inspiring.
This sort of place is heaven to me. Hatch Show Print is a 125 year old letterpress print shop in downtown Nashville. It's been a few years now since I was there but I still remember the smell of it and the feeling of wanting to stay all day. Or even to move in. Americana, music, posters, cats, history: perfect.
