Werner Herzog's Encounters At The End Of The World
This is probably the first of many Werner Herzog clips, but it has to be one of the saddest and most affecting. I've always found Herzog to be an absolute master of the use of choral music in film. And I love how he describes himself as an ambivalent unromantic, which is pretty apparent in this sequence. No Happy Feet penguins in here.
